Warning: This book will be exactly what you think it is. Good defeats evil, kids are amazing but desire to be ordinary, silly asides and lame jokes will permeate the pages, and the teenage relationships will resolve exactly the way intended and happily.

If you were hoping to be surprised, sorry. This book is the unabashed end to the trilogy and follows it well.

I enjoyed it, but I believe it lacks the originality of Rick Riordan's Lighting Thief and following books.

People call it Percy Jackson in Egypt, but people LOVE egypt and egyptian history, so that's okay. Its fascinated people for decades, so why not embrace that?

I think in places, it could have been done better and the audience is clearly younger than I am, but oh well. Its fun.
