6/5/12 SO SO GOOD! I absolutely LOVED this book! I started it this morning and I just couldn't stop reading. :) I haven't enjoyed a book that much in a while. I laughed, I nearly cried, my heart pitter-patted through many deliciously romantic moments, I was completely sucked into the world of Edenbrooke and charmed by the characters. I could easily read this one again and again even right now. :) Definitely one of my very favorite books ever. I look forward to more from Julianne Donaldson!
6/27/12 Just as good if not better the second time. I really love this book!
1/30/13 I could read this book over and over again. I just love and adore it SO SO much! Definitely in my top 5 favorite books ever!
3/27/13 Happy 1st birthday to this wonderful book! It was just as good the 4th time and I loved every second I spent reading it. This time I really came to understand the depth of Marianne's character and the reasoning behind her thoughts. It made the story even better for me.

“To my unsuspecting love.
When I look into your eyes, I lose all sense of time and place. Reason robbed, clear thought erased, I am lost in the paradise I find within your gaze.
I long to touch your blushing cheek, to whisper in your ear how I adore you, how I have lost my heart to you, how I cannot bear the thought of living without you.
To be so near to you without touching you is agony. Your blindness to my feelings is a daily torment, and I feel driven to the edge of madness by my love for you.
Where is your compassion when I need it most? Open your eyes , Love, and see what is right before you: that I am not merely a friend, but a man deeply, desperately , in love with you.
Longing for you.”

Do you have any book recommendations with a similar simple pure romance quality to it that you find at least close to as enjoyable as Edenbrook? I absolutely LOVE that book and find myself a very picky reader so would greatly appreciate a little direction from one who also seems to not be able to get enough of Edenbrook.
Emily, I feel flattered you would ask me. :) "Edenbrooke" was absolutely fantastic and one of the best books I've EVER read, but here are some authors you might like too:Lynn Kurland - I've read almost everything by her and she's one of my favorites.
Nancy E. Turner the Sara Agnes Prine series (3 books). The first one, "These is My Words", is the best, but the others are really good too.
I have really enjoyed everything I've read from:
Deeanne Gist, Julie Klassen, and Karen Witemeyer.
I noticed you read "Princess Academy" by Shannon Hale and I love that one too. I also love her Goose Girl series and a bunch of her others.
A couple others who do great fairy tale romance:
Diane Zahler and Jessica Day George. "The Ordinary Princess" by M.M. Kaye is wonderful. I've read a couple by Joyce DiPastena that are great. A.C. Gaughen's "Scarlet" was fabulous. I loved "English Ivy" by Catherine Palmer and "Keturah and Lord Death" by Martine Leavitt. And just some other authors' I enjoyed: Thalassa Ali and Jonatha Ceely.
Hope that helps! Happy New Year and happy reading!
