it was ok
bookshelves: crime-related, home-cheesesteak-home

I found this book intersting because I live in Philly so I knew about some of the cases. Yet, some of the writing is all over the place, and the book loses steam. It need more of a coherent over-arcing something. It is too wide in scope and needs more focus.

Margaret Oh! I *almost* bought this book last summer at Border's going out of business sale. Now I don't remember why I left it on the shelf. Is it good?

Chris So far. I picked it up because the club is based in Philadelphia.

Margaret Glad I left it on the shelf then. If you're into true crime have you ever read Joseph Wambough (sp?)? I *loved* The Onion Field and thought that he blew Ann Rule completely out of the running for best true crime writing.

Chris I'm not so much into true crime, so I haven't read Wambough.
