These just keep getting better. I can't help but love Bartimaeus, and Simon Jones as Narrator is unbelievable!! Nathaniel and Kitty are really developing as characters! The rebellion is at full tilt and Nathaniel needs Bartimaeus again. Kitty has come into her own and the three connect fully in this volume. I love these stories. The end does have some hang to it, more story or leave it to your imagination, who knows? It doesn't matter, this was hours of purely gratifying entertainment, and please start with book one if you want to read/listen, but DO read/listen to these books. Simon Jones once again takes this story to an indescribable level, and for those with a busy, busy life; audio-books are miracles! I hate to write spoilers so I won't, but if you like a magic with a little bit of dark, a lot of hysterical sarcasm and wit, and surprisingly some real heart, try these stories!!!
