I just finished reading the advanced copy of “The Beautiful Mystery” by Louise Penny and I enjoyed it thoroughly! I have never read her books before but Louise Penny does a wonderful job captivating the reader and drawing them into the story; I couldn’t put it down. The way she describes the music is phenomenal and makes you feel like you are right there, experiencing the same effects as the monks and Gamache. I was a little disappointed with the ending (mainly with Beauvoir’s character) but am wondering if it will be dealt with in another book. I am definitely going to read the other Chief Inspector Gamache novels!
