I loved the graphic novel/story line of Hush. I read the original graphic novel first as the writer is one of my favorite Batman writers (Jeph Loeb) and obviously Jim Lee is a spectacular artist. This book really shows the work that goes into truly good comic writing and drawing. You truly feel a part of things reading this--seeing the brilliance of Lee's sketches in their raw form, but still being able to enjoy the graphic novel on a basic level. The raw art only enhances the story line. I also love the "mystery" format that Loeb uses---it was a similar style to what he used in The Long Halloween (another favorite). He's clearly a fan of noir as well, so there is a lot of noir style in his work which I adore. Highly recommend.
