Clint Hill was assigned to Jacqueline Kennedy's Secret Service after her husband won the election. He was with her throughout all of her joys and tragedies during her time in the White House and for a year after she left. This is a fascinating look inside the demands and privileges of those working in this capacity. Being a Secret Service Agent is definitely not for a family man! Mrs. Kennedy spent very little time in the White House, and he was with her wherever she went - holidays in Palm Beach, summers in Hyannis and Newport, vacations in Greece, Italy, India, Pakistan, and her official trips with the President. She also spent most weekends at their retreat in northern Virginia. During this period, Clint Hill was married with two small sons. For anyone who has memories of how the young Kennedy family took the nation by storm, this is a must read!
