Hot. This book was hot! Chase is hot, Lacy's hot, its all really hot! This was a fun read. There was some adventure, a bit of mystery, and a lot of romance and passion. Lacy's friends were a little annoying, and I thought there were a few too many suitors for her, but other than that I really liked the story. Chase was a dirty cop... in a very good way! Zeke brought out some really negative feelings and I kind of wish he'd been harmed physically before the end. Lacy's mom was outragious, but I was grateful for her near the end of the story. Finally, Lacy, I have to say, I could completely relate to her and often felt so bad for her. As the reader I got to see what she didn't so I had a few moments of wanting to jump in the book and tell her she had it all wrong. Overall, it was an entertaining story and I'd definitely recommend it to divorcees.
