I was pleasantly surprised by Guarding Jess... The characters were great, granted Jess got under my skin a few times because she was so proper and kept everything inside but then again that was who she was, her appearance and personality reflected on her business and she was determined to succeed for a reason that just warmed my heart. I didn't feel a connection with Noah in the way that I do with most heroes but I still had a little crush on him and when he played the talking ball with Jess at the end... I couldn't help but smile and sigh.... Definitely a good little read!
