Katie's review
Eragon (Inheritance, Book 1) by Christopher Paolini
The amazing thing about this book is that it was written by a 15 year old. A huge critique of the book, is that it lacks originality. There are many themes, names, and plot lines that are very similiar to other fantasy novels. My husband can't even talk about the movie (he didn't read the book) without getting very animated about the "obvious plagerism." I would have to agree that there are some remarkable similarities to other stories, but I try to enjoy the story that Paolini has written. A simple story about a boy and his dragon.
