The kid in me shied away from lifting to cover on the subway every day to and from work, lest someone believe that I was reading some conservative-christian tome on the benefits of abstinence-only education. It seems this may have been Perrotta's-- or, should I say, his publicist's-- point. To parade this title around for everyone to see. I judged the book by its cover as was disappointed. The abstinence teacher is exactly not that; nor is this anti teaching fleshed out adequately. Did not deliver on its "promise".
