I think this is a book that you will either love or hate. I loved the story and was fascinated about the wolves. I always enjoy a book when I learn something and Ms. Picoult did not dissappoint me. The story begins with Edward, a gay young man living in Thailand. He left home suddenly after telling his father, who studies and lives with wolves, that he is gay. He is called home when his father and sister are involved in an auto accident. Cara, Edward's sister, blames him for the break up of their family after he left. Their father, Luke, is on life support. Edward wants to pull the plug and donate Luke's organs and Cara wants to leave him on life support, hoping for his return to conciousness. The story is told from different family members including Luke's memoirs from life among the wolves. I especially liked the ending.
