This was the first book i read of the series and i thought it was a great book because baseball is my passion and i enjoyed going back into time in this books to meet some of the best baseball players who ever lived... SPOILER ALERT !!!!! From my persepctive of reading 6 out of the 9 books in this series. It is about a boy name Joseph Stoshack or (Stosh) and stosh has a massive baseball card collection from a 1932 Babe Ruth card to a Ken Griffey Rookie Card. Not only is his collection massive but he has a secret or special power. That power is time travel, and no i dont mean time travel like goin back to the pre-historic days of the dinasours but i mean traveling back to the time period of some the greatest baseball players to live. The way he does this time traveling is for example taking lets say that 1932 babe ruth card. Stosh will take the card out of its clear protective sheet and hold the exposed card in his hand. As a few seconds go by he start to feel a tingling sensation that starts in his finger tips that lead all the way to his chest toes and head then has the sensation becomes stronger next thing he realizes is that he is in the time period of 1932. In this book the reason why stosh goes back to 1932 to is to witness whether the babe called his monstering towering home run in the world series.
