Pretty entertaining, but uneven. I was really into it at the beginning, but about halfway through my interest started to fade and I actually got pretty bored with it until close to the end, when things picked back up again. I thought this vision of Australia (and the world in general) 100+ years from now was interesting and at least somewhat believable, and I liked main character Tegan and could sympathize with her, but most of the other characters felt flat to me, and it seemed like there were a lot of little inconsistencies or things about the future world that Still--lots of action, and a really cool premise. I don't think I'm in for the rest of the series, but I did enjoy this first book, and think it'll find a lot of fans.
