really liked it
bookshelves: 2006-reads, mystery-thrillers, prey-series, series

** spoiler alert ** -(#6 of the Prey series)-I haven’t read one of these in a long time. It’s pretty good. The madman is Koop. HE kills women. Shy, insecure ones. But he has an obsession for one…Jan. HE is also a cat burglar and former prison guard. Davenport is living with Weather who we met last book. I can’t remember much of last book. HE was shot by a little girl is the only reminder. Still doesn’t ring a bell. Davenport is working with Meghan Connell who is dying of cancer. She wants to get this murderer really bad. So bad, she kind of takes on the invincible attitude. Especially in the last action pact scene of the book. It amazes me that the author so blatantly shows the male weakness in Davenport for beautiful women. Davenport must be hot himself and even though he is with Weather and loves her, he is still tempted. I liked this book. It was enjoyable and action packed.
