This book was hard to read. In fact, the closer I got to the end the harder it got to continue. But not because it was bad, no, not that. Quite the opposite really. Because it was so well written and so well done and the emotions and storylines and people in it were so engaging and so real that it was hard for me to continue as Hannah got closer and closer to the end of her story. This book made me think a lot about people we don't really see or people we don't help even when they are standing in front of us screaming to be noticed and the effects that gossip and pettyness have over time. And how everything in life is like ripple effect, the small things that build over time are the things that destroy us the most. And Clay, god, I love Clay and seeing Hannah through his eyes made it all hurt much worse. This is a book that is going to stay with me awhile, I just know it.
