When my husband told me he was reading a book about zombies, I teased him a good bit. When he told me it was good, I was incredulous. "No way am I reading a zombie book," I said. Then, I ran out of books on tape and just didn't want to do a reread. So I tried it. Oh my! It is unbelievable how engaging this book is. Sure, there are a few holes in the story line, but that doesn't lessen the fun of it. It's an action adventure that is highly character driven. It's engaging and interesting and (I think) pretty unique. I think it's unique, but how would I know? I don't read zombie books. Till now.

Tomorrow I am starting number two - Dust & Decay.

Beth Bonini Thanks -- I wrote down this title.
My students (especially the 12/13 year old boys) are LOVING the Charlie Higson zombie series. The Dead/The Enemy/The Fear. I found them surprisingly good, also because of the characters.

Nancy Ooh! I love zombies. This is going on my "To-read" list. :-)

Relyn Beth, Tell me what you and your boys think of it. I am off to search for the Charlie Higson books.

Nancy, You'll really like it.
