** spoiler alert ** Clary finds out that her father isn't dead, but is orchestrating genocide of all who are not fully human. She falls in love with Jace before finding out that he's really her brother.

Intriguing, fun, well-written, not too gory, light and playful romance. Interesting point: a bunch of teens fighting demons and such, and none of their parents happen to ever be around.
I want to read the next installment.
