So I can add to the glow glow glow of reviews, or perhaps I can simply say: this is the textual equivalent of a lovely enamel miniature I once saw in a shop window when I was but yea high, which seemed to me to contain a universe in its tiny colored surface, though I suspect that if I were to see it now I would see something small and mundane and cheap. Likewise I'm afraid to plumb too deeply into this work, because right now I have that first rushing exhale of ahh, Beauty and I do not want to know if there are cracks or flaws, or if the whole is less than the sum of its parts, or if there is a point where you can turn it over and see some uglier underbelly comprised of smudged thumbprints and the arcs of less-than-clean fingernails where they dug in to hold tight, lest anything should mar the gorgeous surface.

No, thank you.

Ahh, Beauty.
