it was amazing

This seems to be the first of a great crime solving series set in Seattle. Lou Boldt is a great detective and has a cast of several good characters helping to solve various murders. I read some of the newer ones first and loved them but I would suggest starting here as the relationship with Daphne, mentioned in many later books, starts in this one. This is an early version of CSI with good forensics and many twists, false leads, etc to keep you engaged. Hard to put down!
