Rummy's review
It's a Dog's Life (Hank the Cowdog Series No 3) by John R. Erickson
A nice - and more importantly, funny - change of pace as Hank doesn't solve a mystery but rather spends a day getting his Sister's pups and himself in trouble.
I was laughing so hard that it wasn't until later that I realize the stories morphed into being anthra...anthro...(fitting that I can't quite remember the proper word since Hank does it all the time.)
Hank's activities, while of course being humanistic since Book One, now have more personified characteristics such as being able to read human writing.
