The Last Boyfriend (Inn BoonsBoro, #2)
by Nora Roberts
by Nora Roberts
I liked this one. It is a formulaic Nora Roberts trilogy, but I still enjoyed it. What I mean is if you've read the Key trilogy or Irish or any of her other trilogies, it is very "fill in the blank" writing which sounds bad, but I still enjoyed it.
Of course, the ghost story is moving along. There really wasn't anything I didn't see coming, but if you enjoy her writing style then this is much better than the last few books of hers that I've read lately. I'd say this is much closer to her older books in writing style and level versus her newer is-she-even-trying-anymore books.
I really liked that Owen and Avery never changed through the book. There really wasn't a huge, ridiculous obstacle for them which was also nice. This is really a story of them coming together in life in a very realistic way.
I'm very interested in Ryder's story so I will definitely be waiting for November.
In all, nothing exciting or thrilling just a throw back to the Roberts of old that we all know and love.
