Saving Grace by Lee Smith
Saving Grace turned out to be a novel that was hard for me to "grasp." Though there were enjoyable aspects of this book, I found the plot, a young girl traveling with her relgigion obsessed father, to be hard to understand and relate to. The religious followers of her father became possessed with the spirit and would handle snakes and speak in tongues....I found it not only hard to imagine, but hard to connect with as well.
