really liked it

This is an engaging story that moves pleasantly through the Yorkshire moors where Detective Superintendent Duncan Kincaid is holidaying. He finds himself embroiled in a mysterious death and the story grows from there. I enjoyed the intricate plot and the story flowed with good charactisation. It was a pleasure to read of a Detective who was (a) sober (b) not self destructive and whilst divorced, not headlong into bitterness.
This book has prodded me into reading more of this talented author. A ripping yarn!
