So I read this in class, in front of my class. Of course I over-articulated my responses and shock, but a few gasps and gaped mouth reactions were real.

Woah. Scary stuff! It's been awhile since I've read a suspenseful book and this was a good way to easy back into the genre.

I really did enjoy it, even if some of it seemed a bit far-fetched. But, then again, aren't they all?

April Henry It was actually inspired by a true story: blind girl, back of car, mom left keys, guy stole car. Only in RL, he let her out after a mile or two. When I saw her on TV, I thought, "But what if..." and then had fun with it.
