I had difficulty deciding how to rate this book. The back story and overall concept are terrific, however the author buries the characters and storyline under mountains of technical garbage and useless lists. If the author had developed the characters or given the story some flow i would have rated it 5 stars. The reader gets bogged down with all the lists and other useless information. If all the unnecessary filler is removed this book would be about 150-200 pages and would be a page turner, however the reader is tempted to skip chapters to avoid all the boring details.

The premise of the book is a VERY likely scenario within the next few years, especially considering what has been going on the past few years. It serves as a wake up cal and a reminder that things might not always be as they are now, especially in the USA.

I would love to read more from this author after he has time to develop his story telling and character building technique.
