(May) A very generous 3*, mostly for the humor which was watered down from other books into more like just obnoxious people and dialogue. For the first time ever, I was really disappointed in a SL book. I didn't love Smitty's book years ago, but this one was just...kinda dull. The romance was weak and took a back seat to much of the action. I love having favorite characters appear in books, but this reminded me of a J.R. Ward book - so many characters, a continuation of Blayne and Novikov's story (he was in it almost as much as Crush was!), some action, open ended ending (as well as lots of little threads not completed that I'm not sure we'll see again - like why did Crush's bros hate him?), and only a minimal amount of sex? Not sure who I see being star of the next book, but since the ultimate bad guy was not caught, this entire storyline/plot will take front row in the next book I'm sure, unfortunately.

Booklover, Indianapolis Yeah, it sucks to wait so long and then be disappointed, but hopefully this is a one-off instead of an alarming trend! Compared to Here Kitty Kitty (my fave) this one is so bland - the sex is off, the humor is off, the characters are off - she just shoved too much stuff in here!
