Do you always find what you are seeking?

Being the best at what you do comes with a huge price that both Valerie Downing and Chase Pierson know. They have both been gifted with an extra sensory perception that everyone would manipulate if they knew about it. Valerie and Chase both keep their lives on the quiet and go about every day as if they were just an ordinary person.

When Chase and Valerie meet, the sparks that fly are more than just from their powers colliding and they both know it. There is something magic between them and working together to recover an historical artifact is going to be very tricky if they cannot separate the personal from the professional.

Valerie and Chase go from one part of the country to the next trying to locate Al Capone’s cane. This requires decoding clues, walking in the path of the departed, and figuring out what is relevant and what is gossip. They are both in tune with the present and forever figuring out the past. But the past is not the problem as much as the right here and right this minute for them as a couple. Do they want a relationship and can they even sustain one, too many questions and not enough time to figure it out, or is there? Once you open doors it seems they are stuck and do not want to close.

What a well-written romantic and suspenseful ride Janelle Denison takes her readers on. You had better pay attention because this book moves as fast as a stolen kiss and is just as sweet.
