This is one of the most poorly written books I have ever read...to the point it is almost distracting. It is a shame, because the content is incredibly interesting albeit somewhat repetitive.

Casey tells the story of his life as a firefighter. He shares everything from the function of equipment to the changes over the years with the introduction of women to the profession.

Unfortunately the flow of the book is terrible. He jumps around with no transition from one topic to the next. He also repeats himself often.

I bet this would make a great film or TV show, but the book is so poorly written I can't recommend it.
