Escape from Camp 14 is an incredibly moving and powerful story of the live of Shin, a man who was born and raised in a North Korean labor camp and managed to escape. The atrocities that Shin was forced to endure (starvation, verbal and physical abuse, torture) were far beyond what any human should ever have to face, and it angers me and breaks my heart that labor camps similar to those that existed in Nazi Germany continue to enslave hundreds of thousands of people in North Korea today.
