Jason's review
The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis
Somewhat disappointing. Some quotable quotes, as always, and the general thrust of Lewis' case is good enough as far as it goes. But much of this short work is basically non sequitur (see the discussion about the immortality of animals). I'm a huge C.S. Lewis fan, and I'd long looked forward to reading this book. It seemed like the perfect topic for him, but he seems to have missed the mark with this one.
Some good moments, though.
