Carrie Fisher is clearly a writer and person I bond with. Everything I read by her makes me feel like we're sitting in my living room and chatting over a bottle of wine. This book follows "Wishful Drinking," and talks more about her relationship with her estranged Father, which I found to be very touching and personal. Carrie Fisher is never shy about anything in her past, and that includes divulging some pretty awkward moments with her Dad and drug use.

If anything, this book will make you grateful for the relationship with your OWN Dad, which can't be any stranger than this one. It is much more than just an autobiography; it's a diary wrapped in a therapy session.
