I had to give the author another chance, still even thought the blurbs sound good I just can't connect to her characters. In this book Lorcan is just thrust headfirst into loving Eva,no explanations, no real conversations about why, ditto with Eva. Five pages in and WHAM. I mean in the first book Bardsley got away with it as she introduced the whole magic Fae ring to the mix, but here no enchilada.Maybe that's the way it's suposed to feel, like love at first sight or such but I just don't buy it. I also felt that the plot of the book was very... umm jumpy. Events that seem unlikely happen because, well because. Overall I was disapointed wtih this book, I only kept reading it to avoid studying for an exam, but I couldn't even enjoy it,I feel cheated.
