This book has horrible misinformation on breastfeeding. The storage time for breastmilk is WRONG, and it even says to shake breastmilk after warming (breastmilk should only be swirled, shaking is bad for it), and her method of feeding a newborn only every 4 hours would lead to not enough milk production for most mums.

Most of this book was fluff. Some of it was flatout wrong from what I've seen with my baby - she says mobiles are of no use until baby is 2 months old, but my baby has absolutely loved watching and even following the mobile with his eyes and head since he was 3 weeks old. He still isn't 2 months old, and it is his favorite thing.

There were 2 things I found useful in this book.

1. I enjoyed the quiz about knowing what kind of baby you have. I found it helpful to figure out that my baby is "spirited" and the behavior explanations and parenting tips to go along with it.

2. I liked the grid that described baby motions and told what they meant. A big...more
