it was amazing
Read from May 05 to 16, 2012 — I own a copy

All I can say is "wow". I really love this book,it does have some predictable qualities, but the major one comes alot later in the book than I expected. Wingfield describes her characters with vivid clarity and by the end you feel like you are attached to them. This is not my usual book that I would pick up, but I am one that does judge a book by its cover and it has always worked in my favor. This book does have christian beliefs in the story, Samuel Lake is a preacher, but this book holds so much more than that. It tells of a deep love in a variety of ways and the closeness of what family should be. Overall I agree with all the other critics listed on the advanced readers copy and say this book is a memorable favorite and I would recommend it to anyone :)
