So, full disclosure: I was in Shakespeare Society at Wellesley with Ms. Percer, and thus was already inclined to enjoy the book. The scenes set at the college and at the society brought back a flood of great memories, and elements of the characters reminded me of others in the group. More to the point of a review, though, is that this is a poetically written novel of a person evolving through love and loss, with elements of finding a place to belong in the world and as a woman. Jun and Naomi's friendship is the heart of the novel, and I kept wanting to read more about them when "real life" intruded and I had to put the book down for a little while. Very well done.
