While Jack Ryan Sr. is again running for the presidency of the United States, his son, Jack Jr. is taking part in missions carried out by The Campus, a group who are unknown even to the CIA, although they are working on behalf of the United States. There is the usual non-stop action and excitement in this book, but perhaps more than I really like. Also, all the foreign names and situations became a little difficult to keep up with, without a lot of concentration. Of course, the book is well written and at times hard to put down.
