it was amazing

First I have to admit that I've never been a big poetry lover and apart from a few anthologies and Prešeren's book of poems that is a must for every Slovenian out there, this is the only book of poems I bought because I reallywanted to. And Dahl's interpretation of Little Red Riding Hood was the first one I read. How could I not fall in love with these verses:
"The small girl smiles. One eyelid flickers.
She whips a pistol from her knickers.
She aims it at the creature's head
And bang bang bang, she shoots him dead."
