The Key
by Simon Toyne
by Simon Toyne
This was a GoodRead First Read courtesy of Morrow.
The four survivors of an incident a the Citadel, a mystery monastery near Ruin Turkey, are being killed one by one. Two of them Liv and Gabriel manage to escape with the help of a monk and a local police officer, only to realize they must return to the Citadel to find the StarMap that will return the Key to her home thus saving the world for total destruction.
In the process they must outsmart the remaining brothers in the Citadel, the Vatican, and greedy corporations.
While this is the second volume in the Ruin Trilogy, Toyne has supplied enough back story to make it possible to read along. However I look forward reading volume one, Sanctus as well as volume three when it becomes available. Recommend for fans of conspiracy thrillers.
