Sepulchre by Kate Mosse
I do like the descriptions of the land around Carcassone, and of course I enjoyed the gothic horror elements that always turn out to be tame. I wasn't particularly taken with the epilogue, but those always seem too easily wrapped up anyway - just add three years to the characters lives and, surprise, surprise, they've moved on....
