Sasha's review
The Fidelity Files by Jessica Brody (Goodreads author!)
This book could have been really awesome, but instead it wasn't. Takes the fidelity inspector premise and, shock, it's because she has trust issues because of her daddy. Will it all work out okay? Will a happy ending be pulled out at the end? Of course.
Takes the questions of what infidelity really means, brings them up, and then neither answers them or calls them unanswerable. Also, the main character is 90% smart and 100% an idiot. She completely takes at their word everyone who hires her. Because gee, surely nobody could have a dishonest motive when hiring a woman to test a man's fidelity.
