Lindsay's review
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Book 5) by J.K. Rowling
** spoiler alert **
Why do I like the ones where important people die more than others? What does that make me?
I have always been vocal in liking teenage Harry more than child Harry, and I think this book is where the true shift began. Goblet of Fire ended so Goblet of Fire for being such a long book that the weight of Cedric's death is not fully felt until Harry gets back to school.
The framework by the death at the end of Goblet of Fire to the death at the end of this book really sets up the rest of the series and forces the tone into a more sinister and adult world where winning the Cup is no longer a main priority.
