A terrific book that's more about Anne learning to keep her mitts off her kids' life than it is about Baby Jax, her grandson. If you're a fan of Lamott's work, I think you'll find it's all here--the spirituality, the honesty, the humor, the poetry. Definitely worth a read! I also liked the Washington Post's review of this book, in part because it peeks into the future and explains what ends up happening with the main couple, Sam and Amy. If you find yourself just dying to know what happens next--check out that review.
