Being that Jabberwock was a favorite poem as a girl, one that was often quoted to me by my grandfather, this book was a bit of nostalgia for me. The Jabberwock poem by Louis Carrol was one of the first I memorized myself. This book was not a terrible disappointment to me. The author seemed to keep in line with the idea of the original poem while adding some extra plot and story to it. The only problem I had with this book was that it ended as quickly as it did! It was a quick whimsical little read! :)
