As a fan of books like the Undead series by MaryJanice Davidson and Tate Hallaway's Garnet Lacey , when I saw that H.P Mallory had released a new book , I knew I wanted to read it as it would be light-hearted and funny with a hitn of the paranormal and supernatural aspects. In The Witch is Back for those who haven't read any of H.P Mallory's books is almost like a prequel or a blast from the past novel of Jolie's life . In The Witch is Back , Jolie is whizzed back to her beginnings where she owned a little tarot shop , way before she realised that her pyschicness was in fact connected to actually being a "real witch". We meet Jolie , a pyschic who gains the attention of two very handsome men - Sinjin and Rand , she can't believe that they actually want her of all people. But these two hold a secret that will change Jolie's life and leave her feeling conflicted , they are in fact both of the supernatural kind and have come to claim Jolie back and return her to her rightul position as Queen of the Underworld. This would have been an wasy task,if it wasn't for the fact that Jolie can't remember any of it and she thinks she is going crazy as supernatural people belong in books and movies like Twilight not in real-life.
As both men race against time-and each other-to win Jolie's heart, the fate of the Underworld hangs in the balance. And Jolie's decision can either restore order or create an absolute, drop-dead disaster.
