Liked this a great deal but didn't love it the way I'd hoped. Lots of things I liked (the realistic relationships, romantic and otherwise; the memories; much--though not all--of the writing). I had plenty of suspicions about the way things turned out, and I think that's what ultimately disappointed me. I won't say this was predictable, and I'm notoriously bad at predicting endings anyway--I think this is just the rare case where the way things come together is SO out there that it's right in line with my totally harebrained theories.

Narrator for the audio book has a very similar-sounding voice (in my memory, at least) to the Gemma Doyle books, which was causing weird crossovers in my brain.
