A fascinating exploration of what happens when you apply statistical analysis to direct real life applications. There could have been more math instead of just discussion of variables, but obviously the goal of the book is to reach the broader audience of sports fans who might not be interested in such things. Still, I like the degree of luck that is admitted, and the degree of luck that is not. It is very well presented.

I recommend this book to the three baseball fans who haven't read it yet and anyone who likes math.
