Suddenly You is one the best romances I’ve read this year. Seriously, it’s practically perfect. We get sexy times in the first chapter! Amanda Briars, a plump spinster and authoress, decides to treat herself to a male prostitute for her 30th birthday. What she gets is Jack Devlin. He is a devilishly handsome publisher with a reputation for his ruthless business practices and rakish behavior sent under false pretext by the madam.

Obviously, they hit it off. Sparks abound. They are forced to work together on one of her books. She is too serious and sensible to a fault; he teases her mercilessly.

What I love most about the book is the varied, incredibly hot, sex. Multiple positions! Oral! Sex in public! I also love that Amanda is plump and not a stunning beauty, but she still ends up with the amazingly good-looking Jack and he thinks she is beautiful.

Things get kind of sad at the end and there is the obligatory baby epilogue, which I always love even when they are the cheesiest of cheese.
