really liked it
bookshelves: young-adult

Engaging, if predictable, read about a young boy befriended by another who has brain cancer. Very nicely conveys the setting in Las Cruces and Albequerque NM. So far, the best of the group that was recommended to read on the topic as better than the Fault in Our Stars by Philip Green (which they aren't, but they are probably better targeted to the YA group).
