The Last Boyfriend (Inn BoonsBoro, #2)

I think I've been spoiled having read 'The Witness' so soon before picking this book up. The Last Boyfriend was a nice book. Like a warm, gentle hug it told the story of the middle Montgomery boy and his slow slide into love with his best friend. There were no overwhelming passions or emotional turmoil.
The truth was that I was more interested in the ghosts background and the tension building between Hope Beaumont (The Inkeeper) and Ryder. This isn't my favourite book of hers, rather it came across as filler and from a writer who can turn out an incredible book as The Witness I felt a little cheated.
